Assorted Character Bios 2

For the people who don’t know, in Destiny there are three classes: Hunter, Titan, and Warlock. You can play as any of these classes basically whenever you want because Bungie very conveniently provides three character slots for your destiny account. As I’ve spent the last five or so years playing destiny I have naturally gotten pretty attached to my three characters. Something that has always been pretty cool about the vanguard npcs is how they’re a fireteam. Ikora, Zavala, and Cayde are a fireteam. The trailers all feature “the” fireteam and that has been something I’ve been trying to emulate a bit with my guardians. It might be a lil cringe to some, but I think it’s so cool to find these ways to really enhance your experience. So without further ado, here is a little bit of the lore I have created for my account’s fireteam. --- Warlock Name: Xela Ghost’s name: Eight Time since revived: unknown, minimum 10 years according to time spent in Last City Subclass: Solar Preferred We...

A Crazy Discovery

Another chapter for today, a crazy plan is uncovered and the plot thickens. More tomorrow! --- Ilioneus took a tentative step outside of the church, which made the glow slightly stronger, but it still wasn’t bright enough.            “I should be so lucky…” He grumbled mentally, “Not only am I not going to be the one who saves the world, the one who does lives less than half an hour away from me…”            The sword still dangled from his belt, the weight still felt unnatural to Ilioneus, “I sure hope that I don’t have to use it, I’ll make a fool out of myself for certain!”            He walked through the town, getting the same stares from everyone as usual. He didn’t appreciate the attention, especially now that he could feel the tingling sensation of his tattoo on his arm.            “Would an...

Shaky Introductions

Short bit of a story where I have Hads Leppet meet someone who isn’t particularly thrilled to see him. All this stuff is just bits of pieces so obviously there might be some context that is missed. All feedback is welcome and there will be another post tomorrow! --- In line with Hads’s observation, all of the tombstones had been eroded heavily. The lack of care was apparent, especially on some of the older ones whose text was practically unrecognizable having been worn off over the years. Even the most recent one that Hads was talking about, had been put in askew and looked like it could fall over at any time.            “Let’s just get inside, it’ll only take a couple of minutes, there’s not much to see.” Hads got up to the door and pushed them open.            The doors opened with relative ease, which surprised even Hads. He expected the doors to have been lodged shut by years of misu...

Writing on Paper

Image
Today I tried something a little different. I went out and wrote stuff on paper. Typing is great and really convenient, but I wanted to do it just to give it a real go. During my senior year of college, some of my classes didn’t allow us to use our digital devices during class. We had to buy our books physically and bring them to class. While I understand why my professor’s would make this choice, I could honestly do without it as just bringing my ipad everywhere saved on a lot of weight for carrying. I ended up having to use a proper notebook again for the first time in a while. I think there was some merit to it, as if I had been using my computer/ipad to take notes I probably would’ve spent a lot of time on MTG arena during times where I didn’t need to pay attention. Instead, I took that time to write stuff. Chapters of stories that I had been meaning to finish, and boy did I do a lot of it. In fact, I probably ended up being more distracted than if I had just used my digital ...

Political Tensions

Not much to say about this one, just a short piece to sorta outline the political atmosphere of Igrax during Hads Leppet’s youth. Any feedback is welcome and I will be back tomorrow with another post!     --- Erik, Hads’s father, along with Lukas were arguing in a small office inside of the Leppet Castle. They were sitting across from each other on a small desk. Both of them looked weary, having been debating for the last couple of hours. Both were well past the point of decency. Erik’s Platypus had retreated to the corner of the room, clearly fed up with the tedious debate.            “I don’t know what you’ve been hearing, but the Leppet family will not get involved in any large-scale conflicts. I’m sure by the next Summit this whole issue will have been resolved.”            “Listen here,” Lukas slammed the desk, “I know you like to hide behind your wall of neutr...
