Today was something

 Man, I'm kinda bummed today. Over a month ago, I pre-ordered this sick RWBY figure and was super excited to add it to my collection of anime figures. I got it today and I got the wrong figure! It kinda sucks because I have no idea if the place I ordered it from even has anymore or if they have a way of compensating me for the bad product. Currently just finished sending in a ticket so let’s see if I get lucky here. I’m really frustrated because it’s not like it’s a different RWBY figure! It’s this character Riza Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist which I haven’t even watched yet! Is she even a cool character in the show!??!?!?!?!??! I wouldn’t be able to tell and that sucks.


Rantiness out of the way I ended up rewatching the first two lord of the ring movies during the drive up from Baltimore. Part of it was because the latest magic set is LOTR themed, but also I was hyped to rewatch the battle of Helm's Deep. Probably one of the most iconic battles ever to be put onto a screen. That fight has inspired generations and it probably will continue to for many years. Not just Helm’s Deep. So many parts of the movie just scratch that fantasy itch that I’ve been feeling for a while. Can’t wait to watch Return of the King at some point later. Good films all around.


Sorry for yet another weird and wacky post, but I’m just mad and couldn’t be bothered to put in any real effort into a post today and that is fine. As long as I write something :)


I will do my best to return to normal sounding posts tomorrow. Stay safe and don’t get trolled by anime figure pre order sites!

Goodbye Counter Strike: Global Offensive

  Well, considering everything that's happening in CSGO right this moment I think it's very likely today is the last day for the game. I don’t really wanna make this some long sappy post about the really nice memories I’ve had with this game so I’ll just keep it short and simple. Without CSGO, my life would never have gone this way. After spending many years failing at sports I was beginning to accept that I would never genuinely be good at anything competitive. CSGO helped me find something I could enjoy in that way. The game’s emphasis on skill and constant dedication enabled me to really feel like my time investment was going to something I was actually improving at. It’s so weird to think that for a little under half my lifetime I have been putting in hours practicing spray patterns, learning new smoke lineups, and making new friends in this game.   As the dropship flew back to base, there were no words spoken. Given the situation, Karl couldn’t blame anyone.
