BS Prophecy piece the sequel
A bit ago I posted a piece that was supposed to be an intro piece for a story about Hads Leppet. This is a continuation of it. Since it’s been a while, I put the end of it here so you can see how they flow together. I will be posting more of this over the weekend so I hope you enjoy and I will see you tomorrow with another post!

No, it’s simply the truth, nothing in our plane could have set in motion the events that led to a regular mortal and his platypus finding an artifact thought lost for good.
What was his name again?
Hads_Leppet, accompanied by his platypus, Bill, as is the tradition of House Leppet.
Well then… I say we pay the Leppets a visit then…
“And why should we trust this young boy, who only holds the seat granted to his house because he was merely next in line?” A rather perturbed Lukas Osred stands before the emergency gathering of the houses in WolfPaw castle.
“Ser Osred, need us remind you that Hads holding his father’s throne was your doing? We were almost forced into yet another brutal and bloody battle.” Erwin Brockford, the interim chair of the committee responded
“That still doesn’t explain why we should trust him to unite us, for all we know he broke the gilded throne when he found the thing.”
“Yes and all those years of it being buried didn’t!” Hads_Leppet shot up from his seat.
“Settle down young Leppet, this isn’t your battle to fight,” Erwin turned back to Lukas as Hads sat back down, “I don’t care what you believe in Lukas, I think many of us here can agree that you gave up your credibility when you and Reginald launched your unprecedented attack on the Leppets.
“Unprecedented!?” Lukas scoffed, “you want to know something unprecedented, a child who thinks he can rule just because he found a chair!”
“Just a chair you say… and here I thought you were going to treat our continents most sacred artifact with some respect.”
“Oh you know what I mean, I refuse to stand with this council while a child holds a seat and if Reginald where still alive, he would be here standing by me!”
“Well, as much as I can extend my condolences to your lost friend, we should put it up to a vote just like the old days,” Erwin looked out to the other 14 members of the houses, “Who is in favor of allowing Hads_Leppet a seat on this council and his house’s throne after the events of the last few weeks. .”
Across the room 15 hands were raised. Lukas, still heated from before, turned and tried to walk out of the room, but was quickly stopped by the guards.
“And that is our answer, Lukas, this is your last chance to reconcile yourself.”
“I don’t need this alliance, all of you will see, it will only end in another fall!” This time the guards didn’t move to stop him from leaving.
Erwin, quick to move on, turned to Laurence Idmaer, “Laurence, I know the death of Reginald was hard for your house, but I appreciate you for sticking with us.”
“Of course, looking back, Reginald wasn’t taking us in the right direction and I can only hope that the Idmaers can redeem ourselves in the eyes of the rest of the continent.”
“I’m glad that you agree, who knows how long it will take to rebuild all the damage that has been done.” He turned back to the rest of the council, “I supposed that concludes our meeting, even if we have already settled this alliance, we must actively fight to maintain it.”
After the various houses started to leave Hads approached Erwin, “Thanks for helping me present my ideas. While I’m sure they would’ve listened to me, Lukas wouldn’t be wrong with some members not trusting me.”
“It’s no worry, Erik Leppet was a great friend of mine and his death has only proven to be nothing but tragic.”
“I only wish that he had been able to spend more time teaching me what it takes to be a leader, it’s barely been a week after and I already feel like I’m in over my head.”
“Hah, none of that teaching would’ve helped in the long run anyway. The biggest teacher will be experience, no book or mentor can prepare you for any of the things that you will encounter during your time on the throne.”
“I just don’t want to mess up, there’s a lot of pressure on me to help my people rebuild.”
Erwin chucked a bit more, “Mistakes are guaranteed, and in many cases, they will be the things that will teach you the most, now run along, you have a house to run.”
Hads gave a quick bow before heading out of the castle, there he was greeted by Ilioneus.
“I take it Lukas didn’t like your idea?” The old monk leaned against a column, looking smug.
Hads nodded, “it wasn’t really a big surprise in retrospect.”
“It’s no worry, after the way I saw him storm off, I doubt he’ll get much respect from the other houses at this point.”
“Yeah, but I don’t really want to hear about that anymore, let’s just get back and see how the repairs are coming along.”
The two friends hopped into their carriage and started their journey home. The trip back proved to be rather uneventful. The forest that once surrounded WolfPaw castle had been mostly burnt down and the only signs that there had even been one were smoldering enders and the occasional blackened stump. The entire continent had quieted down, everyone had retreated back into their own territories to rebuild and the council was the only real interaction between the houses for weeks.
